Who is eligible for PM Kisan Yojana?

For PM-Kisan scheme, small and marginal farmers who are Indian citizens are eligible. Apart from this, are eligible to get benefits under the scheme.

Who is not eligible for PM Kisan Yojana?

• Farmer families holding constitutional positions
• Institutional land holders
• People working in government autonomous bodies
• Serving or retired officers and employees of the State or Central Government
• Public sector undertakings and people earning more than Rs 10,000 per month
• Pensioners, Engineers, Doctors and Lawyers etc.

How to check your name in PM-Kisan beneficiary list?

Step 1: Go to the official website of PM Kisan.
Step 2: Click on the 'Beneficiary List' tab in the right corner of the screen.
Step 3: Select  IN details like State, District, Sub-District, Block and Select Village from the drop-down.
Step 4: Click on the 'Get Report' tab. Select
Step 4: After this, the Beneficiary List details will appear on the screen.

Here are some key features of PM Kisan Yojana:

PM Kisan Yojana, also known as Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan), is  government scheme in India to provide financial assistance to marginal  and small farmers. 
This scheme was launched by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India on 24 February 2019.

1. Eligibility: Small and marginal farmers are eligible for the scheme. The eligibility criteria states that the land holding of the farmer should be up to 2 hectares (5 acres). The scheme covers both rural and urban farmers across the country.

2. Financial Support: Under PM-KISAN, eligible farmers get direct income support of Rs. 6,000 per annum in three equal installments of Rs. 2,000 part The money is directly transferred to the bank farmer   account 

3. Mode of Payment: Funds are directly transferred to the bank accounts of the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) method. In PM-KISAN, This ensures transparency and helps in avoiding any middleman in the payment process.

4. Registration Process: Farmers can register for the PM-KISAN scheme through the designated online portal or by visiting the nearest Common Service Centers (CSCs). They will have to provide details like their Aadhaar number, bank account details and land ownership documents during the registration process.

5. Monitoring and Grievance Redressal: The scheme includes a robust monitoring system to ensure accurate and timely payments to the beneficiaries. Farmers can also raise complaints and seek assistance through the PM-Kisan portal or helpline numbers.
